have you ever pondered, how do people actually grow up?Mixing with people at first hand would tell you how mature they are,in terms of their thought life.being a 20 year student in a college packed with law undergrads kinda got me to think, is maturity something that comes with age or is it more to do with one's personality,or is it your surroundings that propels it.Its just natural for people with more exposure and experience in life to be naturally more hardened and get over life's disappointments faster, and in turn makes them appreciate the good things in life better, imagine a person all cooked up at home, never really let loose into the cruel world out there and when they finally do obtain freedom, they just dont know how to deal with it,they screw up.i know a few people who've gone through the motions this way,and its not really their fault in the first place which is kinda extra-sad..which kinda leads to the bottomline of the issue
..what really makes a person mature?you could argue as to the yardstick of measuring maturity.thats another whole crazy argument.but the answer seems to lie in the 'not-so comforting word' called ADVERSITY.exposure to situations and people somehow will lead you into altercations,no matter how much of a saint you are, and stick you get from people and situations may have different effects on one's personality varying on your temperament, but in any case it just makes you think of things in a whole different light.its only when you've faced the harshness of life can you really appreciate the goodness of it.
