everyone's got a weakness
some kryptonite
that smashes your achilles' heel
makes you feel
your soul is defeated
often complaining
with phrases such as
'How I wish ' and 'If only'
well if
'ifs and ands are pots and pans'
then there would be no work for the tinker's hands
im still learning that God gives us obstacles
as platforms to prove our faith and determination
and not to whine
and relationships are about giving
not receiving
and there's a time to walk away
but only when you've done your utmost
when there's nothing left to your best.
